Moleskine Pages- Connections

The connections grew tenuous with age. The universe yawned with studied disinterest while easch of us danced towards the exit. There was no music...the last few notes hung in the air...a pretty memory..a poignant miasma of a living world. The generations would continue into the greedy void but there would be no welcoming parade...no moving words to keep the stars shinning. The numbers grew less and less and the light slowly dimmed.

Moleskine Pages- Clean Up Your Own mess

The exorcism was about to begin. Nobody knew where the demons came from. They were born early one morning on a blue day. It was now a red letter day and time to move them on. Demons have an uncanny ability for spotting receptive hosts; they look for short memories and central heating.

Moleskine Pages- Blood Stained Memories

Outside catering didn't seem necessary when so much food was readily available. They ate in a greedy silence making sure to appreciate the offerings. Eating someone they loved was a bonding experience, a prayer for the dead eyes and blood stained memories.

Moleskine Pages- Snake Stories

As soon as the whispers turned to screams, it would be time to get out of the woods. Some days the noise followed us and there would be no respite. We'd find a safe space between a curtain and a concrete wall. and silently sing the darkness away. We learned to cope with the flames when our world caught fire. We just shed our scorched skins.

Moleskine Pages- Sock It To 'Em

She loved me, she loved me not. I didn't need to spell out what she, the cat's mother, couldn't read. Which Gods do I call on for routine emergencies?

Sketchbook Pages- My Stupid Valentine

His gift was given in all seriousness, not a hint of irony. As usual he gave her what would ultimately pleasure himself. She, as always accepted with outward grace. Inside she was biding her time. Happy Valentine's Day.
