Moleskine Pages- She Knew There Was More

His tears brought out the worst in her. She could kick him in the soft bits and he wouldn't even notice. She tuned out his whimpers and played the heroine.

Moleskine Pages- Snake Stories

As soon as the whispers turned to screams, it would be time to get out of the woods. Some days the noise followed us and there would be no respite. We'd find a safe space between a curtain and a concrete wall. and silently sing the darkness away. We learned to cope with the flames when our world caught fire. We just shed our scorched skins.

Sketchbook Pages- Cabbages And Kings

The voices in my head were real. I was the imaginary part. Everyone was convinced of my existence.I didn't want to disappoint them. So I lay close to the ground and dreamed of Cabbages and Kings.

Moleskine Pages- ' Rroids

I don't think this needs a lot of explanation, so I'll just leave you with the image.  With only four pages remaining on my current Moleskine, I am seriously considering an alternative sketchbook to work in. I simply can't get my head round paying £14 per book, it's extortion!

Moleskine Pages- The angel Cried

In the absence of God what is there to curb self interest? we blinded each other with sharp words and pointed looks. We were all right and all wrong, but there was nothing to lose and nothing to fear. I whispered rude words in an angel's ear...It cried.

Moleskine Pages- A Plague Of Angels

The flies were a nuisance but no more so than the prim little cherubim; the little voices of conscience sent to plague us. God's mini tax inspectors keeping track of what is given and taken. The spare room held so many casualties of my war. So many stinking corpses I love too much to bury. So many shining hearts that now stain my clean floors with their decomposing compositions. As their grip loosens, I hold on a little bit tighter.

Moleskine Pages- Angel Blessings

Before I lost my wings and grew arms, I lived on the kindness of strangers. They saw an angel. Everyone wants the blessings of angels. I was afraid to disappoint them. How do I bestow blessings when I was born a sinner?

Moleskine Pages - Bullets

As the kisses stopped, their hearts hardened and shrunk into two lead bullets that could kill winged creatures. Crows and ravens escaped unharmed but angels didn't.

Moleskine Pages- Smoke And Mirrors

He was tired of making excuses                                                                                               He was tired of hearing them.                                                                                             She told stories that came out of her mouth in layers                                                              Together they gazed at fun- house mirrors in contorted mistrust                                      She looked up at the stars
He denied their existence and mourned her.

Moleskine Pages- I Wish We Could Keep Our Heads Buried In The Sand

This page took less than an hour to complete and I scanned it in straight away. So this is really fresh. I normally allow works to percolate for a time to see if I still liked them , understood them even.

Moleskine Pages - R. White's Lemonade

She sang their birth, their life and death. She sang their sky, their air and earth. As she sang, their roots took hold, grew deep and stitched them together in a holy union. As they stood still they boomed, flowered and fruited. The cycle rolled on. We hummed along when we forgot the words.

Moleskine Pages - Vacancy

She felt an emptiness that came from the howling void inside her. Her guts nestled around the vacancy but couldn't fill it. She rented the space out on nine month leases, but the rent was never paid,

Moleskine Pages- She Saw Them Coming

" With every fresh promise came a fresh wave of shame. With every Judas Kiss came a plague of microscopic germs ready for war. She'd missed out on basic training but went straight for advanced, underhand, served-cold buffet of revenge. He never saw her coming... She saw them coming...."
